Outbreak Lesson #2

You have just been given your Annotated Bibliography assignment. Your task today is to try to put together a selection of online resources which you and other students will be able to use to collect some of your media articles. At the end of the exercise, your sites will be collated and included on the Outbreak ! website for everyone to use.

Using an internet search engine (like Google) try to find sites which regularly post articles of a medical nature. These sites may be news media companies (like News Limited), message lists (like yahoogroups) or online magazines (like New Scientist)

Make sure you try to pick more specific sites ie. medical sections of newspapers, rather than the newspaper itself.

Once you have collected 10 sites, cut and paste them into a Word document and email it to your teacher. When you record the web address, remember to also write down the title of the webpage (found at the very top of your web browser) so that it can be easily indexed.
